Little Cherubs Nursery in Kensington London is looking for passionate and dedicated individuals to join their team as Level 3 Childcare Apprentices.

Little Cherubs Nursery School has been delivering the highest quality education for over 20 years. They are located in a glorious Church Hall with streams of natural light, a side-garden for free-flow and a Wild Garden brimming with the marvels of nature. The nursery take children from 1 to 5 and the experienced team are here to make sure children benefit from a fantastic curriculum.

This Level 3 Childcare Apprenticeship is an ideal route for young people and school leavers aged 16-18 who are looking to start their career in childcare. It is also a great opportunity for students studying health and social care who are interested in pursuing a career in this field. This apprenticeship will last for 13 months, during which you will work full time at the nursery and attend online classroom sessions. You will receive support from an assessor and a mentor within the nursery.

You will have the opportunity to:

  • Work towards your Advanced Diploma in Early Years Education while gaining valuable practical experience
  • Support the development of our childcare provision
  • Provide an excellent range of activities that ensure children learn while having fun
  • Be a team player, working with teams across the nursery setting
  • Provide challenging and stimulating activities for all children
  • Take part in First Aid training as required
  • Take responsibility for equal opportunity in delivery, access, and attitude in aspects of service delivery
  • Support children's learning and development
  • Prepare and maintain the environment and resources for the children
  • Prepare food for breakfast, snack, and afternoon tea
  • Support children's self-help needs
  • Be creative and enthusiastic
  • Follow safeguarding rules and regulations to meet the Standard of the Childcare Apprenticeship
