Early Years Educator Apprenticeship - Happy Tree Academy Northwood

Happy Tree Academy is a purpose-built nursery, located on the premises of the Northwood Club. They cater for children aged between 3 months and 5 years. The nursery is set over two floors with two large, well-equipped playrooms, dedicated baby facilities, and a safe enclosed outdoor area, and a new forest school.

 Happy Tree Academy, firmly believes that training employees is critical to the success of the Nursery. They recognise that employees have differing levels of cultural capital, skills, and experience. The interview process and continuous performance reviews aid in identifying training needs. By addressing these needs and providing tailored training for all employees, as employers they aim to fill any skill gaps. This not only improves employee performance but significantly boosts their confidence and ability to perform their tasks to the highest level. 

If you’re looking to get hands-on experience in childcare, whilst learning from the most talented people within the sector, this is for you. With a SWIFT childcare apprenticeship, you won’t be spending most of your time doing class work you’ll be in a nursery learning first-hand what it truly means to work in childcare. This 13-month qualification will provide you will a full-time paid position as well as gaining the Level 3 Early Years Educator qualification. We will match you with a business that needs someone like you to further enhance their setting, putting all your learning into action with the support of not only your assessor but your employer, the WHOLE Swift team and of course, the other apprentices.
