The Vineyard Organic Day Nursery is located in the heart of Richmond upon Thames in London and cares for children children aged between 3 months and 5 years.

Vineyard Organic Day Nursery is a happy place where passionate teachers aim to enrich children’s lives by exposing them to music and languages from a young age and as they get older support them in gaining life skills such as cooking, gardening, sewing and woodwork which will prepare them for life. In this truly home away from home nursery, inspired and encouraged by their teachers, children grow to be kind towards one another, inquisitive about the world around them and respectful towards nature.

Essential Requirements – GCSE Maths and English C or 4, or an equivalent (Functional Skills level 2)

If successful in the apprenticeship process, you may be eligible for 30% off on your Oyster Card.

The main responsibilities of this job role will include:

  • Working towards Level 3 Childcare Apprenticeship.
  • Supporting the development of the childcare provision.
  • Providing an excellent range of activities that ensures that the child learns whilst having fun.
  • Being a team player.
  • Providing challenging and stimulating activities for all children
  • Taking part in First Aid training as required
  • Responsibility for equal opportunity in delivery, access and attitude in aspects of service delivery
  • Working with teams across the nursery setting
  • Supporting children’s learning and development.
  • Preparing and maintaining the environment and resources for the children.
  • Preparation of food for breakfast, snack and afternoon tea.
  • Supporting children’s self-help needs.
  • Being creative and enthusiastic.
  • Following Safeguarding rules and regulations to also meet the Standard of the Childcare Apprenticeship.
