Playtimes Day Nursery is a warm, welcoming nursery in Surrey, providing a nurturing environment for children to thrive. The Nursery is located in Chessington with easy access to public transport links and bus services situated directly outside the nursery.

Essential Requirements – GCSE Maths and English C or 4, or an equivalent (Functional Skills level 2)

Some of the main responsibilities of this job role will include:

• Supporting the development of the childcare provision.
• Providing an excellent range of activities that ensures that the child learns whilst having fun.
• Providing challenging and stimulating activities for all children appropriately to meet the Apprenticeship requirements.
• Responsibility for equal opportunity in delivery, access and attitude in aspects of service delivery and management
• Preparing and maintaining the environment and resources for the children.
• Supporting children’s self-help needs..

Level 3 Early Years Educator:

Your Apprenticeship will last for 14 months. You will be supported by Lead Support Coaches throughout your Apprenticeship, as well as a mentor within the nursery. You will be working full time in the nursery. Your classroom days will be based online as a remote session which you will need to be fully available for, and your main childcare apprenticeship work will be done in a nursery local to you. This Apprenticeship will open the doors to a variety of future roles within the Childcare Sector.
