What progression looks like in Early Years

One of the biggest myths about working in Early Years is that there aren’t many opportunities to progress.

Is an apprenticeship as good as going to university?

Can I progress in my career?

Yes. An apprenticeship is just the beginning. Many Early Years professionals progress into roles such as Senior Practitioner, Room Leader, Deputy Manager and Nursery Manager, with opportunities to continue developing throughout their career.

Will I be supported?

Do I need childcare experience?
