At Swift, we believe learning is a journey that does not end with your apprenticeship. That is why we are proud to launch our brand new Continuous Professional Development (CPD) programme, created to support you beyond the classroom and give you extra skills that will stay with you throughout your career.
Whether you are just starting your apprenticeship or looking ahead to your next step in early years, these sessions are a chance to build your confidence, expand your knowledge, and discover new passions.
What to expect
Our CPD sessions are short, interactive webinars delivered online by Swift tutors and early years specialists who understand the reality of life in nurseries. Each brings their own experience, meaning you will gain practical tools and inspiring ideas you can take straight into your everyday practice.
For example, Gemma W, who will be leading Engaging Children through Music and Creativity this October, says:
“My passion in early years is expressive arts and design, especially music. I love seeing children grow in confidence when exploring sounds, singing and developing creativity. I want learners to feel excited about how music can transform their practice.”
Demi, who will run the upcoming KCSIE 25 safeguarding update session, explains:
“This session will help you feel secure in understanding the changes to safeguarding and what it means in practice. Knowing how to respond is essential, and we are here to make sure you feel prepared.”
