You did the hard work. You paid the fees, passed the course, and believed you were qualified to begin your Early Years career. But what if your qualification doesn’t count?

You’re not alone. Too many learners have been misled by training providers offering courses that fail to meet the DfE’s “full and relevant” criteria under the EYFS framework.

These qualifications don’t count toward staff-to-child ratios in nursery settings, meaning many learners can’t work in the roles they trained for.

At Swift Childcare, we’ve never been part of the problem. But we’re here to fix it.

Why We’re Launching This Programme

We’ve been contacted by a growing number of learners with the same story:

“I finished my Early Years course and thought I was qualified, but it turns out it doesn’t count!”

Too many people have paid for Early Years qualifications, from other training providers that aren’t recognised as Full and Relevant under the EYFS framework. These learners are often left shocked, disheartened, and ineligible for the roles they trained for.

At Swift, we don’t think it’s fair that learners should have to pay again to do it properly, especially when they weren’t told the truth the first time.

That’s why we’ve launched the Swift Payback Scheme, to help you move forward without having to start from scratch or cover the full cost again.

What Is the Swift Payback Scheme?

The Swift Payback Scheme offers eligible learners a credit of up to £1,500 toward a Full and Relevant qualification, the Level 3 Early Years Educator Diploma, delivered by Swift.

This means you can requalify in just 10 months and step back into the sector you chose with the confidence that you’ll meet all the compliance criteria and that you’re ready to develop a successful career.

Who can apply?

This scheme is open to any learner who:

  • Completed an Early Years qualification in the last 4 years with another training provider
  • Was led to believe it was valid but has since discovered it is not Full and Relevant (i.e. it does not count in EYFS staff:child ratios)
  • Can provide a copy of the original invoice for that course (no other proof will be accepted)
  • Has not previously applied for the Payback Scheme
  • Is not currently enrolled in another Early Years training programme

All claims are subject to Swift’s review and approval, and we may request further information to validate your application.

Full Terms & Conditions

Claims must be submitted by 30th November 2025. Swift reserves the right to extend this date. Credit is capped at £1,500, cannot be transferred or refunded in cash, and applies only to the eligible Swift Diploma. Places are limited and assigned on a first-come, first-served basis.
